Anthony Jennings shares his views about love and relationships in Kapamilya Chat’s “Green Flag or Red Flag” Challenge.

In this episode, Anthony will weigh in on specific love scenarios. First off, he was asked his opinion about splitting the bill on the first date. He said it’s perfectly fine since he’s the guy and he’s the one expected to court the girl. But, of course, he will appreciate the girl if she insists to pay for her share.

On asking for cell phone passwords, he thought it takes time to get to this level of ease in a relationship. Therefore, it’s a red flag for him when the partner asks for it just a few days or weeks into the dating stage.

While surprise visits seem like a sweet idea, Anthony considers it a red flag when done in the workplace because it can come off as disrespect to other people’s time. As an actor, he wouldn’t want the set disturbed by a surprise visit, no matter the intention.

A detail-oriented person is a walking green flag for Anthony because he is poor at remembering dates. So, if the girl can memorize even the smallest details, then, they’re a match. Anthony isn’t the type to celebrate monthsaries. Nonetheless, he will appreciate it if the girl remembers and makes an effort.

Vulnerability is a green flag for him. What’s unacceptable is when the partner opens up to another person of the opposite gender. That’d be borderline emotional cheating.

Bringing up their exes? “Nakaka-badtrip ‘yun minsan,” he reacted. Anthony thought it is okay to mention the ex when talking about the lessons and experiences of the past. However, it becomes a red flag when it happens too often and at random moments.

People who love to make themselves the topic are red flags for Anthony, “Hindi naman ako ikaw, eh. Magkaiba naman tayo ng opinyon. Magkaiba naman tayo ng pinagdaanan.”
