Krizel Mabalay happy, thrilled to finally pass The Voice Kids auditions on third try

<p>It seems that third time’s indeed a charm for young artist Krizel Mabalay as she finally made it to the blind auditions of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/thevoicekids2023"><em><strong><u>The Voice Kids Season 5</u></strong></em></a> after three tries! Despite her failures, she and her mom refused to give up her dream of showcasing her singing prowess on television and has now succeeded.</p><div><iframe allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share" allowfullscreen="" frameBorder="0" height="360" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aCuT3MH4nwI" title="Meet Krizel Mabalay from Nueva Ecija | The Voice Kids Philippines 2023" width="640"></iframe></div><p>The 12-year-old aspirant from Nueva Ecija, who’s a proud daughter of an on-call driver dad and a housewife, started singing at the age of 3, with her mother as her vocal trainer. She trains by singing to their videoke at home and has already joined various singing competitions, from which her monetary winnings she gives to her mom to help with their utility bills.</p><p>While her family have been supportive of her, it’s unfortunately not the same with their neighbors who would often throw stones at their roof whenever they rehearse. However, they just choose not to confront them in order to not make things worse and keep the peace among them.
