When talking about Kapamilya heartthrob Gerald Anderson, the first thing that comes into the public’s mind is the word passionate, from his work as an actor to his relationship with actress Julia Barretto and even ‘til being a true fan boy. Gerald is thankful for all the opportunities raining down on him and he believes this gratitude is what ignites the passion in his heart.To start off with the long list of things he is passionate about, Gerald takes his fanatic side seriously. He is such a huge fan boy of international icon Robert Downey Jr. whom he got to meet in person when he attended an event in South Korea.In his TWBA guesting, Gerald shares that he thinks of that experience as a surreal moment. “Lumabas siya na sumasayaw pa sa stage. It was amazing to see someone na sobrang laki sa screen and then you see him right in front of you” the actor relates as he reminisces on his biggest fanatic moment. He even copied RDJ’s signature dance moves.“Makulit! Nung lumabas siya, para talaga siyang si Tony Stark and at his age, nag-eenjoy pa rin siya”, Gerald says about Robert while looking every inch amused. Since then, he took the event as an inspiration and source of drive to perform well in his projects. Although, he did not have the chance to take a selfie with his ultimate idol simply because he got shy and didn’t have the guts to compete with other fans flanking around his ‘hero’.
