Makisig Morales entered showbiz via Kapamilya singing competition Little Big Star in 2005. He gained more popularity when he headlined his own TV series, Super Inggo, in 2006 and at the age of 10.

In an episode of Tonight with Boy Abunda, Makisig had a chance to look back on his Super Inggo stint, which he described as happy days. “Hindi ko po siya na-feel as work. Mas na-feel ko na nag-e-enjoy ako. I’m having fun with my co-actors.”

He’s the first on-screen partner of Kathryn Bernardo, who played Maya in the series. Makisig said of Kathryn, “Sobrang proud! Grabe! Of course, with Daniel as well!”

After doing Mirabella starring Julia Barretto in 2014, Makisig moved to Australia alongside his family. He lived an ordinary and quiet life there. Makisig worked part-time while finishing his course in Culinary. The year 2018 witnessed Makisig’s comeback on primetime as he joined the cast of epic-serye Bagani as Dumakulem.
