“<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/love40days2022">Love in 40 Days</a>” stars Ronnie Alonte and Loisa Andalio had symbolic gifts for each other in a Christmas episode of <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/tonightwithboyabunda">Tonight with Boy Abunda</a> in 2018. In this video, Loisa gave Ronnie a toy motorcycle since he’s always wanted to ride one but she’s worried about his safety. “Gusto niya ng motor at gusto ko siya ibili ng motor pero sabi ko, parang delikado po kasi sa akin ang motor. Natatakot ako magpagamit sa kanya ng motor, kaya hanggang laruan na lang siya,” she laughed. Ronnie then surprised Loisa with a sack that symbolizes him being protective, especially when his girlfriend wears revealing clothes. “Para itaklob sa katawan niya,” he jokingly demoed how he intends to use the sack. “Kunwari, ayan, naka-sleeveless, isasako ko. So, hindi na kita ‘yung katawan niya. Kasi lahat ng posts niya, kita ‘yung braso, naka-shorts, pa-sexy.” The reel and real-life couple also reacted to netizens’ comments about their PDA or public display of affection. For Ronnie and Loisa, they just behave like ordinary couples in love. He explained, “Napakaraming mag-shota, mag-jowa sa lahat ng normal na tao lang, lahat naman po ‘yun ginagawa nila, eh. At saka alam naman po namin kung ano ‘yung tama at mali.” Loisa added, “Tama po ‘yung point ni Ronne. Kumbaga, dahil artista kami, hindi na kami pwede maging normal na tao na tipikal kung paano magmahalan ‘yung mga nagmamahalan?” The pair was promoting their MMFF movie with Vice Ganda that year, “Fantastica.”<div> </div>
