Darren Espanto has a lot to be thankful for in both his music career and studies. He performed as a guest artist in the concert of a popular pianist, Lang Lang, in China. Darren also represented the country in the singing of the Korean 2019 Innovation Summit theme song titled “Side by Side”. On November 29, Darren’s original composition, “Sasagipin Kita” was released.

Despite the busy schedule, Darren does not fail to prioritize his education. In fact, he graduated with honors in high school and is now moving on to college. “I’m very happy to keep on doing what I love which is singing and at the same time continuing my education,” he happily shared. The young achiever plans to pursue a course related in the medical field.

Darren clarified that he is not courting Cassy Legazpi, the daughter of Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi. He said they enjoy each other’s company as friends and they go out with other buddies as well but jumping into a romantic relationship is not their priority; although, he admitted having a crush on Cassy before. Darren is also romantically linked with the unija hija of Dingdong Avanzado and Jessa Zaragoza, Jayda Avanzado but he consistently denied wooing her.

In his Magandang Buhay April 2019 guesting, Darren’s mother openly shared her thoughts that Darren may have already found a puppy love. Darren laughed off his mother’s suspicion, saying the latter simply assumed so because he’s always on the phone talking with friends.

Darren played the TWBA’s Last Five Challenge. Sarah Geronimo’s “Unforgettable” was the last movie he watched. The last time he got angry was when his sister procrastinated first before doing a school project. “Dying Inside” was the last song stuck in his mind.
