<p>Amazon boasts that its virtual assistant Alexa can make lives easier by doing many tasks, from setting an alarm to ordering a pizza, but it cannot scratch this Filipina grandmother&#x27;s itchy back.</p><p>Teofila Pegollo, who is fondly called Lola Openg, stole netizens&#x27; hearts by trying and hilariously failing to communicate with artificial intelligence in this 3-minute viral video.</p><div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script></div><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/carneasadafries/videos/10155939577219713/" data-width="auto"> </div><p> <br/>The struggle is real for Lola Openg, who had a hard time talking to the voice assistant whom she called &quot;Alaska&quot;, when her daughter Serly asked her to give orders to Alexa through the Echo Spot speaker.</p><p>&quot;Alaska, makati ang likod ko. Scratch my back... Alaska, crush my back, makati!&quot; Lola Openg told Alexa multiple times in the now viral video, which has racked up more than 1.2 million views and 21,000 shares on Facebook as of posting.</p><p>&quot;Alaska, matuto ka ng Tagalog, hindi ako marunong mag-English. Hoy, gising! Makati ang likod ko, kamot!&quot; the 98-year-old said, which sent her family to fits of laughter.</p><p>Jonathan Gonzales, who posted the now viral video, shared in an interview with ABS-CBN News that his grandmother and grandfather worked as farmers in Indang, Cavite, before moving to the United States in 1977 along with their 5 daughters. </p><p>They have been living in San Diego, California since then.</p><p>Lola Openg, who is now aware of her newfound fame, said it was &quot;neat&quot; to give joy to thousands of viewers.</p><p>She celebrated her birthday a week before the Facebook video went viral.</p>
