LOOK: Mocha takes photo with Trillanes after Senate hearing

After their face-off at Wednesday's Senate hearing on the proliferation of fake news, Communications Assistant Secretary Margaux "Mocha" Uson and Senator Antonio Trillanes IV posed for a photo.

Uson reportedly approached Trillanes after the hearing to ask for a selfie.

During the hearing, Trillanes grilled Uson, telling her that as a public official working in the executive's communications team, she should be careful on the opinion she puts on social media.

It could be recalled that two weeks ago, Trillanes filed charges of libel, graft and ethics violations against Uson for accusing him of hiding ill-gotten wealth in several bank accounts. At least 3 libel cases were filed against Uson for alleged violation of the Cybercrime Prevention Act.

On Wednesday, Uson was also the top trending topic on microblogging site Twitter, as she responded to Senators' questions.

At a hearing on the spread of fake news, majority and minority lawmakers alike questioned Uson about her posts on her widely popular Facebook page, where she has several times criticized opposition figures with unconfirmed claims.

"Sa dinami-dami nung mga blog mo tungkol sa amin dito (sa Senado), may isang beses ba na humingi ka ng side namin?" opposition Sen. Bam Aquino asked Uson.

Uson, usually vocal on social media, initially refused to answer Aquino's question by citing her right against self-incrimination.
