The plunder case against former Senator Ramon &quot;Bong&quot; Revilla does not disqualify him from pursuing a comeback to the Senate, the Commission on Elections said Wednesday.Electoral aspirants can only be barred from joining the polls if there is a final conviction against them, Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said.&quot;Kung walang final conviction ang kandidato, puwede iyang tumakbo kahit nasa piitan siya,&quot; he told radio DZMM.(If there is no final conviction yet against a candidate, he may run even from behind bars.)Revilla is accused of misusing P224 million from his &quot;pork barrel&quot; or discretionary funds.
