Watching our favorite Kapamilya stars display their athletic side during the Star Magic All-Star Games 2023 felt like a breath of fresh air. The Basketball Main event, especially, was an intense hardcourt match between Star Magic Dream Team and It’s Showtime Team, as the players impressed beyond their basics. Both teams were composed of mighty hoopers perfecting their shots from downtown. Though overall team defense and camaraderie come into play, it can’t be denied that three-point shooting adds prestige to a player’s name in a basketball game. In this video, we compiled the gentlemen in red and black jerseys with prolific three-point shots! It wasn’t just his basketball efficiency that made Ryan Bang a standout; it’s his humor, too. The It’s Showtime “oppa” performed a funny dance routine after earning three points in a single shot. The same goes for his ‘kuya’ Vhong Navarro. <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/itsshowtime">It’s Showtime</a> also found a competent reinforcement in JC De Vera, whose swift jump shot added a whopping ‘tres’ to their team’s overall score. Of course, Ion Perez, the game’s Most Valuable Player, was on a scoring streak and delivered stunning three-pointers. Meanwhile, the Dream Team tried to rewrite history and snatch the title from the reigning champions. Though they ended up losing, still their performance was a threat to Ion’s team. JV Kapunan took time out from singing to participate in the star-studded sports fest. Well, he hits three-pointers as well as he hits high notes. Joining him in the three-point-shooters club is Lance Carr, who impressed with his big potential. Since Gerald Anderson made his foray into professional basketball, it’s no surprise he brought his expertise to the All-Star Games as a player and assistant coach. <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/dirtylinen">“Dirty Linen”</a> lead actor Zanjoe Marudo shot a ‘tres,’ too. As expected, the crowd would erupt whenever Daniel Padilla drops in amazing three-point shots. He had 5 shots from behind the line in the 3rd quarter alone, making him one of the game’s record-holders. Of course, he felt all the love from his teammates, the audience, and his girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo who cheered from the sidelines.
