This little girl who was first seen in her parents’ arms as an adorable tot, is now a fine young lady. And we’re talking about the ‘unico hija’ of Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez and Leyte Representative Lucy Torres-Gomez, the 19-year-old Juliana Gomez. Time flies so fast, indeed. Even Lucy and Richard cannot totally believe their daughter has grown to become a really gorgeous young woman. People have always been fascinated with how Juliana grew up to be this beautiful and smart young girl that she has turned out to be.The most recent milestone in Juliana’s life was her freshman year in college. Her parents have so much to be proud of - from the moment she graduated in high school last year, to the moment she made it to her dream university, which is the University of the Philippines, wherein she became part of the university’s women’s volleyball team which she herself describes as her “dream team.” Just like her dad, Juliana has always been interested and even excelled in the sport. She was already a varsity player in high school.Both Richard and Lucy were more than proud and happy of Juliana as she will spend her college life in the same university where they both went. More than that, the parents are thankful because Juliana does not have to leave the country for college unlike many of her friends.Richard and Lucy made it clear from the very beginning that Juliana has to stay in the country for her tertiary studies because they really want to keep their family tightly knit, given that they are just only three in their clan. Aside from Juliana’s dreams in sports, she also aspires to be a future lawyer. That’s why she is pursuing a degree in Public Administration as her pre-law course in UP.There are definitely times where both Richard and Lucy would still be in awe of how their baby girl has grown up so fast. Their daughter is even starting to do things independently. One time, she even traveled to Spain with her friends, and without her parents. This shows how Juliana’s parents gradually let her mature even more!Richard can be seen again on our television screens in the 2012 series <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/walanghanggan">Walang Hanggan</a>, which is currently reairing on Kapamilya Gold.

Nothing can compare to the joy a father feels when he sees her daughter all grown up and living the life of her dreams, such as Richard Gomez, who is very ecstatic with how daughter Juliana is following his footsteps.
