Luis Manzano to host the new show Laugh Out Loud

He has three nominations in the upcoming PMPC Star Awards for TV, namely as Best Talent Search Program Host (with Billy Crawford for Pilipinas Got Talent), Best Male Showbiz-Oriented Talk Show Host (Entertainment Live), and Best Male TV Host (ASAP XV). As if these nominations weren&#x27;rsquo;t enough to prove his skills as a host, ABS-CBN has just entrusted him with another job as host for the new show Laugh Out Loud or LOL. In an interview with Push.com.ph, Luis shared that viewers should watch out for the pranks and other practical jokes featured in LOL. &#x27;We will come up with funny instances to see how people would react. Pinagisipan talaga ng buong creative team &#x27;lsquo;yung mga pranks na gagawin, hindi lang basta may maipakita kami. Dapat abangan ng lahat kasi I saw the pranks na and lahat kami tawa nang tawa.&#x27; Luis described LOL as a perfect show for Pinoys who are known for being happy people and good sports when it comes to pranks. Audiences, including celebrities, will not be spared by the LOL barkada. &#x27;Pagti-tripan din namin &#x27;lsquo;yung ilang celebrities but as much as possible we want to focus on the normal people. Sa kanila ka kasi makakakuha ng mas natural and random reaction. Kapag celebrity kasi medyo maingat na sila kumilos kapag nasa public. Pero sa ibang pranks tutulungan kami ng ilang celebrities para mambiktima ng mga ordinary people.&#x27; Whether hosting in front a crowd or just around a bunch of friends, Luis naturally likes to have fun and tease other people. He confessed that he also enjoys pulling pranks, and he dreams of planning a practical joke for LOL that will victimize his close friends Anne Curtis and Nikki Gil. &#x27;Si Nikki at si Anne alam kong may pagka-gullible. I would love them to be part of LOL. There is one prank na hilig naming gawin ng mga barkada ko. Ayoko na i-share kasi may pagka insensitive, ha ha ha! Pero bilang masayahin akong tao, mahilig akong manggulat. But alam ng mga barkada ko na wais din ako, na I know how to work around situations. I can keep my cool kaya hindi gagana sa akin &#x27;lsquo;yung mga karaniwang pranks.&#x27; The downside however of being a busy TV host is that Luis doesn&#x27;rsquo;t have the time to do any acting. He said that he is letting ABS-CBN management plan on when a I can fit in his schedule. &#x27;If time will only allow I would love to do a teleserye. The reason na wala pa sa ngayon is because the management knows I&#x27;rsquo;m very busy with Panahon Ko &#x27;lsquo;To, ASAP, E-Live, may MYX pa, and very soon &#x27;lsquo;yung new season ng Pilipinas Got Talent. Miss ko na rin ang acting.&#x27;
