Andi Eigemann apologizes to Jake Ejercito and his parents

Jaclyn Jose revealed in an interview that her daughter Andi Eigenmann is really close to Jake Ejercito, son of former president Joseph Estrada and former actress Laarni Enriquez. However, the actress suggested that Jake’s parents are allegedly against their son becoming romantic with Andi who was involved in controversies involving Albie Casiño and her pregnancy.

When asked for her reaction, Andi began by confirming that she has always been vocal about Jake being really special to her. However, she suggested that since she and Jake still live with their parents, they should be respectful of their wishes. “Lagi kong sinasabi na dahil bata pa kami at habang nakatira kami sa bubong ng mga magulang namin, kailangan marunong kaming rumespeto. Sila pa rin ang rerespetuhin namin at susundin,” Andi explained.

“Sinabi ko nga po na dahil bawal, hindi po namin ‘yon ipipilit and wala naman pong masama do’n. Even ako po ‘yung tinutukoy, kung ‘yung parents po don’t think na parang at this time, at this point in both our lives, hindi pa ako magugustuhan para sa anak nila, wala naman po akong ibang pwedeng gawin kundi respetuhin ‘yun.”

She continued that she does not think that Jake’s parents are close-minded or judgmental if it were true that they don’t want their son to be in a relationship with her because she knows them on a personal level. “Alam ko po sila na hindi naman po talaga sila ganoon. Alam ko naman po talaga na ‘di ba meron silang reasons that go beyond that, na mas valid pa kesa dun sa fact na meron akong Ellie (Andi’s daughter). Parang tingin ko masyado naman pong mababaw ‘yon. Pero ‘yun nga nasa sa amin na po ‘yon. Ayun nga po never ko naman po talaga hinanapan ng mali ‘yon eh and wala naman pong masama… ‘yung magulang just want the best for their child.”

Andi then broke into tears when asked if she felt hurt by the said issue. She justified that just because she has a daughter born out of wedlock, this doesn’t make her a bad person. She added that she couldn’t help but feel sad when people look down on her because of her past. “Masakit po ‘yon. At the same time naiintindihan ko rin po ‘yon and marunong din po akong rumespeto, so alam ko po na kahit nasaktan ako na hindi po ako gusto ng magulang ng taong gusto ko, para sa akin okay lang naman po sa akin ‘yon eh. Naiintindihan ko naman po,” she said.

She continued that during the time of her mom’s interview, she had not yet talked to her mom Jaclyn and admitted that she could not understand why her mom had to reveal this information. “’Yung mommy ko parati akong pinoprotektahan tsaka katulad nung mommy ni Jake gusto niya rin po kung anong best for me. Gusto niya po hindi ako nasasaktan pero hindi ko po maintindihan kung bakit kailangan niya pong sabihin ‘yon eh hindi naman po kailangan kasi.”

Andi pointed out that what makes her sad is the fact that her mom’s statement put Jake’s parents in a bad light. “Wala naman pong ginagawang masama ‘yung mommy ko, wala naman pong ginagawang masama ‘yung parents ni Jake. Sobrang bait po nung parents ni Jake. Never ever did they say or do anything bad to me. Matinong tao po sila kaya ‘yun nga nahihirapan ako kasi rumerespeto naman ako sa kagustuhan ng magulang ni Jake pero dahil dun sa sinabi ng mommy ko, magmumukha na naman akong masama.”

At the time of the interview, she said that she has not yet talked to Jake’s parents or even to Jake who was not answering her calls. “Gusto ko rin po malaman ng mga tao na kung ano man nasabi ng mommy ko, kung ano ‘yung mga sinabi niya hindi naman po tama.

'Alam ko po na mas better, mas sincere ‘yung apology na ako po ‘yung lumapit sa mommy ni Jake at humingi ng tawad sa kung paano siya napamukha at nabanggit pa ‘yung pangalan nila sa TV. Samantalang ‘yung buhay po nila parang sobrang private lang po naman. Medyo nakakahiya lang po kasi ‘yon, pero wala po akong ibang way kung paano maga-apologize kasi pati po naman ‘yung anak nila hindi po ever gusto na lumabag sa kagustuhan ng magulang niya. Pati po siya hindi ko na po alam kung paano siya kakausapin,” she wailed.

When asked for her message to Jake and his parents, Andi stated, “Kung makakausap ko si Jake or ‘yung parents niya po na personally ako maga-apologize. I don’t think it’s proper po na I say it on camera, but then I just hope na… I’m really, really sorry na dahil sa akin mapapag-usapan sila, na hindi maganda ‘yung lumabas tungkol sa kanila kasi hindi ko rin po ‘yon ginusto at hindi rin ganun ‘yung tingin ko.”
