There have been several rumors that Rayver Cruz and Cristine Reyes have broken up for quite some time now and the former is just trying to hide the truth for some unknown reason. But in a recent interview with Push.com.ph, Rayver maintained that his relationship with Cristine is working out just fine. “Siguro mga pang ten times na issue na ‘yan. Ang masasabi ko na lang tungkol sa mga ganitong issues, wala, tatawanan ko na lang. Palagi na lang ‘pag iinterviewhin ako, siyempre sasabihin nila yun na hiwalay na kami. Siguro kasi hindi nila kami nakikitang nagpo-post sa Instagram ng pictures together. Pero para sa akin, two years na kami pero paulit-ulit yung issue,” he began.

Rayver further shared that he’s happy because they get to work together again in the teleserye Bukas Na Lang Kita Mamahalin. At the same time, he’s also very supportive of Cristine’s upcoming movie El Presidente. “Oo naman, masaya relasyon namin. Siyempre tsine-cherish namin yung mga moments ngayon na happy kami together. Magkakatrabaho kami, magiging busy kami parehas. May pelikula din siyang ginagawa na entry para sa Metro Manila Film Festival. Hindi naman kailangan palagi kaming magkasama. Basta alam namin nandiyan kami para sa isa’t isa.”

The 23-year-old also agreed with Cristine’s previous statement that only time will tell if their relationship is truly for keeps. He added that what matters is that they make the most out of the present moment. “Oo naman. Kasi hindi naman natin alam kung anong pwede mangyari sa future. Basta tulad ng sabi ko, sa ngayon, masaya kami na magkasama. Hindi namin iniisip yung future, iniisip namin yung ngayon. Kung kami talaga sa future e di kami. Kung hindi, wala talaga kaming magagawa.”

When asked if he helps Cristine deal with her family problems such as her longstanding rift with sister Ara Mina, Rayver simply replied, “Basta palagi naman akong nandito para kay AA (as Cristine is fondly called by her friends). Alam naman niya yun. Basta nandito lang ako palagi para sa kanya.”
