Andi Eigenmann reacts to being called 'babaeng ahas'

<div><img src="" alt="100213-Andi_main.jpg" width="290" height="305" align="left" border="0"/>Andi Eigenmann admitted she was very excited to start working on her reunion project with Matteo Guidicelli, Galema: Anak ni Zuma, after first being paired in the 2010 hit series Agua Bendita. “Siyempre nakakainip nun kasi excited na excited na kami mag-taping ulit and eto nga si Matteo tawag ng tawag sa akin nung time na yun kung may taping na ba kami. Kasi it&#x27;s such an exciting project. So ayun kahit nakakainip na naghihintay, alam namin na bawat araw sa taping ay walang dull moment,” she shared.</div><div> </div><div>In Galema, Andi plays the role of a young woman bound by a curse and has to live with twin snakes around her neck. The 23-year-old actress revealed she was able to watch Zuma, the 1985 film on which the fantaserye is based which featured Snooky Serna playing the role of Galema and Andi&#x27;s father Mark Gil as part of the original cast. Andi shared how the TV version will be different from the films. “I watched both movies na Galema, yung kay Snooky Serna at yung kasama yung daddy ko. Well first of all mas modern na itong Galema na teleserye na gagawin namin. Mas nakaka-relate sa panahon ngayon whereas yung dating version nung 80s pa yun. Iba na ang panahon ngayon so mas relatable siya at saka I guess mas specific na yung mga kuwento and siyempre may mga twists din,” she explained.</div><div> </div><div>The talented actress said she is really not the type to be scared of reptiles. “Parang never ko lang talaga siya naisip. At the beginning, the first time nung nag-orientation kami parang hindi ko alam paano ko siya hahawakan, natakot ako at baka mamaya kakainin ako. Pero eventually nasanay na rin ako kaya okay,” she recalled.</div><div> </div><div>When it comes to her personal life, Andi finally put to rest rumors linking her to Billy Crawford&#x27;s breakup with Nikki Gil. The two recently worked together in the movie Momzillas where he played her fiance. “Okay na ako and for me parang alam ko naman that the truth will always prevail. Normal lang sa amin, it&#x27;s part of our job na masama sa mga issue or mapag-usapan or mamali or ma-misinterpret yung mga ginagawa or sinasabi so okay lang sa akin yun. Everything&#x27;s fine. At least now I know to not let it get to me. Ang na-realize ko is I know who I am and nagsasabi naman ako ng totoo, hindi naman talaga totoo yung nangyari. I really am doing everything that I can and kung hindi pa rin enough parang wala na akong magagawa. It&#x27;s out of my hands already. So now I&#x27;m okay,” she said.</div><div> </div><div>Andi said her friendship with Billy is not as close as people try to portray it. “Kasi nagkakilala kami ni Billy dun talaga sa shooting. Like hindi talaga kami yung magkaibigan kagaya ni Matteo na years ko na siyang kakilala. So nung lumabas yung issue na yun, basically wala naman talagang nagbago. I guess, mas lalo lang yung mga tao tumingin sa kung paano kami magkasama. Pero hindi ibig sabihin na may nagbago kasi hindi naman kami parang the bestest friends nung magkakilala kami. Pero totoo po yun na nagkakilala kami at naging magkaibigan kami, nagkuwentuhan kami pagka nasa set pero walang nagbago. Pareho pa din,” she added.</div><div> </div><div>Andi said she initially got affected when people started calling her “babaeng ahas” because of the nasty rumor. “At the start it kind of did because hindi man lang ako makapag-post sa Instagram or sa Twitter kasi kahit anong sabihin ko, minamali nila, lalo na kapag connected sa trabaho kasi nga may ahas. Na-hurt ako pero it didn&#x27;t affect me so much kasi hindi naman totoo eh. So okay lang,” she said.</div><div> </div><div>During her free time, the pretty mestiza said she tries to spend as much bonding time as she can with her daughter Ellie. “Tulog? Anong tulog?
