Coleen Garcia fights back against intrigues

Coleen Garcia keeps her head high in the face of unending rumors tagging her as the supposed reason why Billy Crawford parted ways with his longtime girlfriend Nikki Gil.

In a taped report aired on “Buzz ng Bayan” on Sunday, Coleen maintained that she is not one to come between lovers.

What added fuel to the ongoing controversy were the allegedly sweet photos of Coleen and Billy published online from a recent event of theirs in Bacolod.

“Ako nalang palagi ang third party eh no? ‘Yun naman ang akala nila eh, na ahas ako. Pero ang masasabi ko lang, hindi,” said she.

While she has been the butt end of so many harsh labels since the issue broke out, Coleen said she has nothing against those starting the rumors against her. What she wants to tell them is that: “I don’t blame you. I just feel misjudged. God bless you nalang.”

However, she didn’t deny that she and Billy are indeed getting closer these days since they are both mainstay hosts of the afternoon Kapamilya variety show “It’s Showtime.” But she was quick to clarify that they are nothing but mere “workmates.”

What if Billy decides to pursue her?

“Well sasagot nalang ako kapag nagparamdam. Sa ngayon wala naman,” she shared.

Adding that she believes that it’s “too early” for Billy to be starting a new relationship seeing that he just came from a notably long one. As for her, Coleen says she has to “breathe” for now.

“Ang dami kong ginagawa now and I’m trying to better myself in all ways as an artist, as a person,” said Coleen.

In the same “Buzz ng Bayan” report, Billy took the sweet photos controversy in stride underscoring that “‘Di naman scandal ‘yung nilabas eh.”

“Tsaka hindi lang naman kaming dalawa ‘yung nasa Bacolod, nandoon sila Vice [Ganda] andoon sila Teddy [Corpuz],” he added.

Recall that Billy has also drawn flak since he came out to the public with the ending of his nearly five-year relationship with the Maria Mercedes actress last July.

While he has already distanced himself and cleared the rumored third parties that got to their relationship such as Coleen and Andie Eigenmann, among others, Billy underlined that he is currently enjoying his singlehood.

“People can be such hypocrites and they can say whatever they want to say. But you know what, wala ng makakababa sakin. I’m on a natural high. I’m on a much better state right now. I just have to enjoy being single,” said he.
