Dawn Zulueta begs off from comeback film with Richard Gomez

<div><img src="" alt="122013-Dawn_Main.jpg" width="305" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>The much-awaited Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta comeback movie is not happening anytime soon.</div><div><br/></div><div>This news was confirmed by Dawn herself during an interview on the sidelines of the recently-concluded <i>Kwento ng Pasko: Pag-asa at Pagbangon</i> solidarity concert held at the Araneta Coliseum.</div><div><br/></div><div>According to Dawn, CharDawn fans need to be a little more patient as she waits for a different script for their iconic love team’s comeback flick. “It’s a very nice project, actually. I just felt that maybe perhaps, since it’s our comeback movie as a love team, I felt that perhaps, we’ll wait for another kind of material <i>na lang.</i> that’s the only reason,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Although she saw it as a “very great story” Dawn maintained her stand on waiting for a new material. “It would have been a wonderful project. It’s a wonderful cast, a great director. <i>Pero parang siguro maghihintay na lang ako. Kung magiging</i> comeback movie <i>namin</i> as a love team <i>ni</i> Richard,<i> ibang</i> material<i> na lang,”</i> stressed the former <i>Bukas Na lang Kita Mamahalin</i> star.</div><div><br/></div><div>In an interview last November, Richard denied speculations that Dawn turned down their supposed comeback movie. He clarified that his project with Gretchen Barretto, John Lloyd Cruz, and Jessy Mendiola is different from what was supposed to be the CharDawn comeback film.<i> “Mayroon kaming teleserye na gagawin ni </i>Dawn <i>tapos &#x27;yung</i> movie <i>namin ni </i>Dawn, to follow. <i>Iba itong</i> project <i>namin ni </i>Gretchen. <i>Teleserye muna, mag</i>-start<i> na kami ni </i>Dawn<i> ng </i>taping<i> namin</i> in the next few weeks,” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>While their film is on hold for the time being, fans of their tandem can look forward to their upcoming family drama which is slated to air next year. <i>“May bago tayong teleserye, ang </i>title <i>ay ‘You’re My Home.’</i> That’s going to be shown in the early part of the year.”</div><div><br/></div>
