031613-er_main.jpgWhen asked about his opinion regarding the separation of Cesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz, Laguna Governor ER Ejercito maintained that the two should uphold their marriage vows and their commitment to raise their family together. “Alam mo ‘pag artista ka, dapat yung wife mo understanding. Dapat malawak yung pagunawa. Lahat nagkakamali eh ‘di ba? Kaya ako adviser ko si Pangulong Erap (Joseph Estrada). Dapat mapangunawa mga asawa natin,” he said in an interview during the recent Star Awards for Movies.

E.R. was quick to say though that it doesn’t mean Sunshine is not an understanding wife. It seemed that he’s privy to the details about the couple’s marital problems since he worked closely with Cesar in the 2012 Metro Manila Film Fest entry El Presidente.

On a serious note though, ER.stressed that Cesar and Sunshine should exhaust all means to fix their marriage.

On his part, E.R. claimed that his wife, Mayor Maita Sanchez-Ejercito, happens to be very understanding. Asked if he ever got attracted to other women, he cheerfully replied, “Wala ng time eh. Matindi trabaho, 24/7, jingle na lang pahinga.”
