Kathryn Bernardo says she wants to study advertising in college

<div><img src="" alt="041013-kathryn_main.jpg" height="290" width="305" align="left" border="0"/>After the success of <i>Princess and I</i> and her Star Cinema movie <i>Must be Love</i>, Kathryn Bernardo admitted she is happy to finally have time to focus on her studies. The 17-year-old actress is currently enrolled in the home school program of Angelicum College in Quezon City. “<i>I</i>-congratulate<i> niyo ako kasi natapos ko na</i> Physics <i>at </i>Filipino <i>ko tapos ko na rin. Sa </i>English last exam <i>ko na</i> last weekend <i>tapos matatapos ko na siya. Ang pinoproblema ko na lang </i>social studies and math, <i>yun na lang. Tinatapos ko talaga siya para bago mag-</i>start <i>ang</i> new soap,<i> ma-</i>clear <i>ko na siya. Wala na akong problema para makapag</i>-college <i>na ako,</i>” she shared.</div><div><br/></div><div>Kathryn even spent most of her Holy Week vacation studying her modules with a personal tutor in order to catch up on her studies. “<i>Kaya ina-araw-araw ko siya ngayon habang walang ginagawa</i>,” she added.</div><div><br/></div><div>Although she has always been a studious person, Kathryn said she feels a bit regretful about not being able to finish her studies on time. “<i>Hinayang talaga. Pero wala, kapalit naman siguro ito nung kung anong meron ako ngayon </i>so okay <i>lang din basta </i>goal <i>ko tapusin ko na talaga ito. Dati sa</i> OB Montessori super active <i>talaga ako nung </i>second year <i>pero</i> now <i>tina</i>-try<i> ko pa rin. Pero hindi ko naman masasabi na </i>perfect <i>ko lahat kasi nahihirapan din ako kasi ang hirap mag</i>-adjust<i> talaga</i>,” she admitted.</div><div><br/></div><div>With her busy schedule, Kath opted to enroll in the home school program which is just as challenging as being a regular student because of all the modules she has to study in lieu of attending classes. “<i>Ang hirap niya talaga </i>promise. <i>Nahihirapan ako pag sa</i> self-study. <i>Sa bahay kailangan talaga ng</i> tutor<i> para mag</i>-explain <i>lalo na sa </i>physics.<i> Grabe hirap na hirap ako. Nung </i>Holy Week <i>yun yung ginawa ko sa bahay, nag-aral lang ako ng </i>Physics,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>The talented teen said she is still adjusting to her new school which she has to visit in order to take exams on different subjects. “<i>Parang</i> one year<i> lang naman ako nawala,</i> before <i>nag-su</i>-school<i> naman talaga ak</i>o regular schooling. <i>Siguro nahirapan lang ako mag-</i>adjust<i> sa</i> home schooling<i> kasi iba siya eh at saka ang hirap ibang </i>school <i>na rin ako, iba na yung mga kasama ko dun.</i> So <i>hindi rin ganun kadali mag-</i>adjust <i>pero yun na lang kasi yung</i> way <i>para makatapos ako eh</i>,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>This summer, Kath said she hopes to finish all her subjects so she can start college. “<i>Depende pa eh kung matapos ko siya ngayong </i>April. <i>Kasi yun yung</i> target <i>ko kasi</i> last year<i> pa talaga ito eh. Parang ang tagal ko na siyang ginagawa kasi nga nung Princess and I hindi ko masyadong nagawa.</i> So <i>pag natapos ko na siya, baka mag-</i>apply <i>na ako </i>for School of Fashion and the Arts (SoFa) <i>nga</i> or any fashion school or College of St. Benilde <i>mag-ta</i>-try <i>din ako, kung kakayanin!</i> (laughs) <i>Gusto ko talaga</i> advertising and<i> si</i> Miles Ocampo<i> parang yun rin ang gusto, gusto namin kami ang magkakasama. </i>Excited <i>kami pareho.</i> Supposedly ahead <i>ako sa kanya ng </i>one year<i> pero na-</i>late <i>kasi ako ng</i> one year <i>sa Princess and I kaya naging ka-</i>batch <i>ko na si</i> Miles,” she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Even though she is also keen on studying Fashion Design, Kath said she also wants to get a degree in Advertising. “<i>Gusto ko talaga mag-</i>CSB <i>kasi </i>advertising <i>gusto ko pero kung hindi na kakayanin ng</i> schedule,<i> sinasabi nilang lahat na mahihirapan ako</i>, so <i>parang mag-</i>SoFa<i> muna ako</i> or fashion design school <i>muna, parang ganun. Para wala ng masayang na</i> time. <i>Pero ewan ko, mag-i-</i>inquire<i> pa lang din ako pag naayos ko na lahat.
