Ipinagupit ni Maxene ang kanyang mahabang buhok para i-donate at maging wig para sa mga cancer patients.</div><div><br/></div><div>“To actually cut your hair to something this big of a cause its so life changing<i> at ang nakakataba ng puso ang dami tao na nagpunta dito. </i>When my mom told me na I am to do this, sabi ko game what is it? But the condition is I have to cut my hair which is almost waist long na. and then I&#x27;ve learned that its going to be turned into a wig for kids with cancer, no questions asked <i>ginawa ko talaga kaagad.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>Mas malaking awareness kasi ang nagpamulat kay Maxene sa sakit na cancer dahil ito rin ang pinagdaanan ng kanyang ama na si Francis M at ikinasawi nito limang taon na ang nakakaraan.</div><div><br/></div><div>“<i>Malapit sa puso ko ang mga</i> advocacy for cancer awareness <i>kasi </i>I lost my own dad to leukemia 5 years ago and to be able to do something like this for other cancer patients I mean,<i> napakasakit na mawalan ka ng</i> loved one <i>dahil sa </i>cancer but there are people lucky enough to survive this desease and sadly my dad wasn’t one of them but he is in a better place right now.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Sa kanya namang career bilang bagong Kapamilya, masaya si Maxene na nagsimula na siya sa bagong teleserye na una niyang assignment. Nagpasalamat din siya sa network na kanyang pinaggalingan at sa lahat ng trabaho na nagawa niya dito.</div><div><br/></div><div>“I actually just came from the taping for a new<i> serye kasama ko dito sila</i> Zanjoe Marudo, Beauty Gonzales, Tirso Cruz III, Gloria Diaz, and a lot more. <i>Ang</i> role <i>ko ako iyung malandi na may</i> gusto kay Zanjoe <i>na gagawin ko ang lahat para makuha siya.</i> First show <i>ko ito with kapamilya </i>and I am so grateful to ABS-CBN<i> siyempre </i>no bridges burned<i> sa kabila nagpapasalamat din ako sa kanila sa lahat ng trabaho na ibinigay nila sa akin</i>. I&#x27;m thankful to ABS-CBN for opening great doors for me. As an artist I want to grow and do more things.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Tradition na ng pamilya ni Maxene ang bumisita sa libingan ng kanyang ama sa All Souls day at ditto ipinagpapasalamat nila ang lahat ng naiwan na pangaral ni Francis na hanggang ngayon ay nagagamit nila.</div><div><br/></div>
