Movie Queen Bea Alonzo is not one to believe in rumors and blind items supposedly questioning her boyfriend Zanjoe Marudo’s loyalty towards her.

Bea’s reaction came right on the heels of the release of blind items reportedly pertaining to Zanjoe’s womanizing. Instead of being affected, the Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon star just shrugged off the rumor.

“Tama si Toni [Gonzaga], ‘wag mo nalang pansinin. Kasi hindi ko alam kung ano ang intensyon eh. Hindi moa lam kung feeling niya ba merong hindi maganda sa relationship niyo. Bakit? Para sumira diba? ‘Yun lang naman ang dahilan diba. So parang why are you going to let the evil let you down. Why?” said Bea during her live appearance in The Buzz on Sunday.

If anything, Bea is certain that her boyfriend of three years now is not doing anything suspicious behind her back saying that “I am very very sure. Sana naman hindi niya ako ipahiya sa pagsasabi ko nito.”

The prized Kapamilya actress, even underscored the infamous female instinct saying that, “sometimes, talagang you know eh.”

Besides, Bea says she won’t be in a relationship with the comedian “kung hindi ako nagtitiwala sa kanya kasi feeling ko 'yun ang pinakaimportanteng ingredient sa relasyon namin.”

While many are probably wondering how the rumor even began, Bea theorizes that it was sparked by Zanjoe’s recent work trip to Japan where she eventually joined him after a couple of days.

“Hindi kami magkasama sa birthday niya kasi he was there to work and ako rin may taping so sumunod nalang ako sakanya. Nagfe-facetime pa kami parati [non]. Nakakatawa lang,” she said.

She apparently learned about the blind item through a concerned friend from Canada who expressed concern about her “problem” with Zanjoe.

“Meron nag-text sa akin. Sabi niya, ‘I hope you’re okay, I heard you’re going through something.’ Sabi ko, ‘Ha? Ano po yun?’ Sabi niya may blind item, tapos gusto pa daw niya si Zanjoe para sa akin. So tinignan ko, binasa ko para lang sabihin sa kanya kung totoo or hindi just to appease her ‘di ba? Binasa ko, nag-screen shot ako tapos pinabasa ko kay Zanjoe. Tawang tawa kaming dalawa,” she recounted.

Instead of confronting Zanjoe about it, Bea said they just laughed the rumor off.

“Hindi. Hindi talaga. Super biruan lang. Sabi ko ‘Kapal mo ah, cheat ka pa,’” she said.
