Star Magic celebrates its 22nd anniversary

From being initially dubbed as “Talent Center” by ABS-CBN honchos Freddie Garcia and Johnny Manahan in 1992, it produced the highly successful afternoon youth show <i>Ang TV</i> which helped launched the careers of many new faces in showbiz with numerous mall shows, live concerts, and even two albums.</div><div><br/></div><div>With the growth of its talents and reputation, Talent Center started launching their discoveries by batches three years later after it was founded with Star Circle Batch 1 in 1995. Here is a look back on the unforgettable milestones and highlights of the country&#x27;s premiere talent center.</div><div><br/></div><div>1992: <i>Ang TV </i>was born, launching the careers of the likes of Claudine Barretto, Jolina Magdangal, Patrick Garcia, Roselle Nava, Lindsay Custodio, Jan Marini Alano, and Katya Santos.</div><div style="text-align:center"><br/></div><div>1994: <i>Ang TV Generation 2</i> was launched featuring the newbies Kaye Abad, Carol Banawa, and Marc Solis.</div><div style="text-align:center"><img src="" alt="1.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="center" border="0"/> </div><div>1995: Star Circle Batch 1 was launched with eight members, including Rico Yan, Regine Tolentino, and Victor Neri.</div><div style="text-align:center"><br/></div><div>1996: Star Circle Batch 2 included Diether Ocampo, Marvin Agustin, Mylene Dizon, and Patrick Garcia. This batch became part of the cast of <i>Gimik. It became one of the most highly acclaimed Filipino films worldwide.
