Manolo Pedrosa to star with Jane Oineza and Joshua Garcia in a movie

Manolo Pedrosa is set to star in an upcoming Star Cinema movie with his co-Pinoy Big Brother housemates Jane Oineza and Joshua Garcia. The young star is beyond ecstatic to headline the movie under the film outfit.

'Very grateful po kasi nong una may ginawa po akong indie film (Stars Versus Me. [Now] I didn’t expect na magkakaroon ng Star Cinema so nagulat po ako, very blessed po,' he stated during his contract signing.

Titled Blood Crayons, Manolo said that further details about the film will be revealed soon.

'Actually nagulat po ako, kasi wala po akong alam so ‘yun po sasabihin na lang po ng Star Cinema,' he said.

The former PBB housemate said that he is already looking forward to sharing the big screen with Jane and Joshua.

'Opo sobrang happy po na meron na agad [movie] tsaka mas masaya kasi kasama ko sina Joshua at Jane.'

With this major project coming his way, Manolo said that he is working on honing his acting skills. He relayed that his stint in the show Oh My G! has helped him on making his acting better.

'Siyempre po gagalingan ko po. Sa Oh My G! na I used that to train myself sa acting so through experience po ako natututo.'

Apart from the movie, Manolo is happy with Oh My G!’s high ratings. Manolo plays the character of Harry. 'Sobrang happy po kasi ngayon po nagfo-focus na po ‘yung story sa character ko, kay Harry so happy po na nagkaroon ng part na ‘yun and ‘yun from the start po I knew it would be successful because it has a religious factor na may family values, friendship values so sobrang happy po sa set.'

Manolo is paired with Janella Salvador in the show and he admitted that he has his fair share of bashers because Janella’s original ka-love team is Marlo Mortel.

'Normal naman po ‘yun. I just go with the flow and go whatever happens,” he said.
