During the after-party of Para sa Hopeless Romantic’s premiere night, lead stars Julia Barretto and Inigo Pascual revealed to the press how they felt about watching themselves on the big screen.

“It’s really crazy, I mean I’m so used to nakikita ko lang yung sarili ko sa TV, now nasa big screen na so it’s so overwhelming and then the feedbacks, di ba parang nakakatuwa lang kasi yung hard work na linagay ko sa movie, it was all worth it. To sum it all up, I’m just so happy,” Julia said about her first movie.

Meanwhile, Inigo shared, “I’m super excited. I mean we finished this movie last year pa so we’ve been waiting a while for this to come out so I’m just really happy that it’s finally out and every time one of my movies comes out, it’s just like a dream come true all over again dahil like it was just a dream before, you know like I didn’t know my dad would actually let me do this one day. I’m just super happy right now.” Inigo was also in the movies Paano Kita Iibigin, Relaks, It’s Just Pag-ibig and Crazy, Beautiful You.

Julia and Inigo co-starred with Nadine Lustre and James Reid in this project. Did they want more scenes in the movie? “No, it’s okay. I feel like the movie was edited very well, put all together very well. I feel that the movie was awesome the way it is,” Julia answered.

Meanwhile, JulNigo talked the about their hardest scenes as Maria and Ryan in the movie.

Inigo said that his favorite scene was also his hardest. “My favorite has to be my coma scene. Dahil tulog ako. I was asleep for four hours.” He added, “I feel like my character was just fun and easy. Wala naman siyang masyadong drama so nag-enjoy lang talaga ako nung ginagawa namin yung movie.”

Meanwhile, Julia, whose favorite was her hair-flipping moment said that her hardest was when she shouted, “Ryan!” in the streets, “I had to do it so many times.”

Para Sa Hopeless Romantic is currently in cinemas nationwide.
