Following her medical procedure in Singapore last December, Angel explained why she has to return for another one. &#x27;&#x27;It&#x27;s an innovative treatment na dalawang doktor lang ang gumagawa sa buong mundo. It&#x27;s laser na may sampung injections sa spine, nerves and sa disc ko. Ang sama daw talaga ng pagka-damage. Sabi nga ni doc, baka daw hindi ko magamit yung legs ko kung hindi ko pa pinunta doon. Kaya lang may nakita kasing bago so sa February, lilipad ulit. Gagawin ulit ‘yung same procedure,&#x27;&#x27; she said in the report. Sharing that there are many things that she has to avoid doing, Angel said, “Kailangan ko tiyagain. Gusto ko rin naman (magpagaling), not for anything else. Gusto ko lang maging healthy para sa future.” It was last October during her interview on Tonight with Boy Abunda that Angel revealed having a “bulging disc injury” in the spine – the reason why she can no longer do the role of Darna in a film adaptation. Siyempre pinaghirapan ko rin naman &#x27;yun sa ginawa ko kaya nakakatuwa na tumatatak pa din &#x27;yun sa mga tao. Hindi ko makakalimutan &#x27;yung pagmamahal na ibinigay nila,&#x27; she told reporters.
