Jessa Zaragoza and Dingdong Avanzado are planning to have another baby

On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Jessa Zaragoza-Avanzado with her daughter Jayda, shared that she and her husband Dingdong Avanzado plan on having another baby.

Dingdong will be taking a rest from political scene and will not be running for a seat in this coming election. On this she said, “Hindi naman sa ayaw, [pero] maraming factors. Marami kaming kailangang gawin, unahin. Saka nagpa-plano kami uli magkaroon ng baby, sana mabuo. Sana, malaki na si Jayda.”

Through the years, Jessa has managed to maintain relevant in the music industry. On this she shared, “well katulad nga ng sinasabi ko kay Jayda, I think yung originality is very important. And you have to be true, sincere, true to your music. Sincerity talaga. Minsan nga pag nagpe-perform ka, hindi kailangan na perfect yung nota, yung dynamics - kailangan perfect yung puso’t totoo.”

With her parents being renowned singers, Jada managed to utilize the pressure on her to improve her craft. She shared, “Well there is a certain amount of pressure. The expectations from me are quite high and my parents let me know. But I feel like it’s what motivates me to strive harder and to hone my skills.”

The singer will be opening for the British group The Vamps for the Philippine leg of their tour. Jayda shared, “I started listening to them even before I got the news (the phone call) that I was going to open for them. I was thinking na, it would be such a dream to open for these people.”

Jayda, despite her age, seemed to have a good idea of what it takes to be a good performer. “To me, I don’t think, as a singer, a good voice is enough. You’d have to have passion, you’d have to have a rapport with the audience—you must be able to establish that. There are a lot of factors. Because you can just be a singer but being a performer is something different, and that’s what I want to do.”
