Fit for a Queen: 5 eligible bachelors that could be Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach's 'ideal guy'

It came as a total shocker when Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach revealed in a TV Patrol interview that she was actually single.

However, she did list down the 'traits' of a guy that she hopes to be with. According to her, the guy has to be smart, humorous, and a gentleman. Here are five guys whom we think could make the cut.

1. Atom Araullo

Although he's not directly connected with showbiz, Atom has been the epitome of 'eligible bachelor' ever since he called it with quits with his former girlfriend Patty Laurel. The 33-year-old anchor, who graduated with a degree in Applied Physics from the University of the Philippines, has been part of the ABS-CBN News and Current Affairs for a while now. The Josh Hartnett look-a-like has been making women swoon even during his younger years when he was part of the youth-oriented show 5 and Up and all the more when he reported live, in the middle of Yolanda-stricken Tacloban in 2013.

2. Benjamin Alves

If Pia was to find the local counterpart of her Hollywood crush James Franco, it would probably be the 26-year-old actor. Benjamin graduated summa cum laude from the University of Guam for English literature. Although he originally wanted to pursue a master's degree, his joined showbiz instead. To date, Piolo Pascual's nephew has been part of number of highly-acclaimed films both in the indie and mainstream scene including Heneral Luna.

Reports have it, though, that he's currently dating singer-actress Glaiza de Castro. However, two have yet to confirm anything about the real status of their relationship.

3. Coco Martin

The Prince of Philippine Independent Films may not boast of a educational background like Atom and Benjamin, but he could more than compensate it with years and years of experience and hard work. From being a budding actor, Coco left show business to become an OFW doing menial jobs. Years later, he returned to business with much depth and passion and started dominating the local independent scene before getting big in international film festivals through his daring films with Brillante Mendoza.

4. Rayver Cruz

Perhaps one of the most underrated stars in the business, Rayver is best known for busting his moves on the dance floor more often than not with his good friend Dance Princess Maja Salvador. But Rayver has more to offer than just his sleek dance moves especially in the aspect of acting as shown on his exceptional performance on the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival entry Buy Now, Die Later and the highly-acclaimed film On The Job.

5. Mikael Daez

He was first known as a model, then an actor and now Mikael is getting his hands on fitness, blogging, and business. This is unsurprising since Mikael finished a business management degree from the Ateneo de Manila University. A good measurement of his eloquence can be seen on the way he writes and presents his blog which contains his own musings and photos from his everyday life may it be on cam or off cam. Rumors are though that he and Megan Young have been a couple for some years now.
