Sam Concepcion is Japan's Tohoku region's newest tourism rep

Sam Concepcion has achieved yet another milestone in his life as Japanese tourism officials picked him as the Philippine representative to promote the region of Tohoku.

Sam is currently in Japan to shoot a music video for his newest EDM-inspired track, 'After Glow.'? His music video will feature several scenic sites such as the Iwate Park, the Chuson-ji temple, the Kappabuchi Pool, and the Fudo Falls.

Talent manager Carlo Orosa posted the behind-the-scene moments of Sam for his video. He also shared a short clip of Japanese teenagers giggling after taking a photo with Sam.

A number of Japanese TV networks ncluding the NHK also took notice of Sam.

'I want to thank you for giving me this opportunity and I hope by doing this we can make Filipinos more aware of this beautiful place here in Japan,' Sam said.

Aside from Sam, the Japanese agency also picked artists from Thailand and Singapore to become a tourism representative.
