Wala rin itong pakialam kahit pa may maiinit na love scene ang boyfriend kasama si Lovi.</div>Hindi ba naiilang si Joanne habang pipinapanood ang kanyang love scenes with other girls?“No, because she knows that it’s just all acting. Alam niya naman na acting lang ‘yun.“Basta pag-uwi, ‘yung ginagawa ko sa pelikula, dapat iba ‘yung ginagawa ko. Hindi pwedeng parehong style,” natatawa niyang pahayag.Ayon pa sa actor, masaya siya na maganda ang feedbacks ng mga tao sa pelikula at sa acting na ipinakita niya.“Natutuwa talaga ako kasi we worked hard na napaikita namin na it’s not only ‘yung mga sexy scenes ang laman ng pelikulang ito. Ipinakita ko rin sa kanila na I’m very vulnerable, I want to show them that I have another side na hindi lang puro katawan, na may laman din ang pag-arte ko.“Comment pa nga nila, this is the nicest film they’ve seen from all the films that I’ve done. ‘Yung girlfriend ko, paglapit sa akin ni Joanne, sabi niya, ‘ito ang pinakamagandang pelikula na nagawa mo.’ Sabi ko, ‘wow!’“And my mom also, ‘yung mommy ko ang biggest critic ko, eh. Nag-react na siya sa trailer, sabi niya, ‘ano ba ‘yan? Masyadong sexy yata ‘yan?’ Nung napanood niya, natahimik siya. And then, she’s like, ‘tama ka, ang ganda ng pelikula,’” sey pa ni Derek.Samantala, matagal na ring hindi nakikita sa telebisyon si Derek. Ayon sa actor, may kontrata pa naman daw siya sa TV5.“Five (TV5) pa rin, loyal sa 5,” tawa niya.Pero hindi raw naman siya pinagbabawalan ng network na gumawa ng pelikula sa Regal or Star Cinema.“Hindi sila ‘yung bawal kang gumawa ng pelikula diyan. Very supportive sila and I think, pangatlo ko nang pelikula (ang The Escort) this year, and mag-uumpisa pa ako ng dalawa pa.”<div> </div><div> </div>Nang tanungin namin si Derek kung ano ang last project niya sa TV5 ay sabi niya hindi niya na raw ito maalala.<div> </div>
