<div><img src="" alt="032516-jona_main.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>Now that she is part of the Kapamilya network, Jonalyn Viray or just Jona remarked that she is happy especially that she is being given with projects. “<i>Being a Kapamilya masaya din po ako dahil nga talagang sa mga ginagawa ko po na projects ngayon na sobrang in line po talaga sa gusto kong gawin,</i>” she said in an interview with Push.com.ph.</div><div><br/></div><div>The singer is part of “Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs 2016”. She shared that she always wanted to be part of the musical competition. “Being part of ‘Himig Handog 2016’ <i>sobrang </i>blessed<i> po talaga kasi</i> I’ve been praying for this opportunity <i>na sana makasama naman ako sa ganitong klaseng </i>music fest na mag <i>interpret ng isang song sa Himig </i>and i<i>to nga po nangyari siya</i> so <i>sobrang</i> blessed, thankful <i>sa</i> opportunity <i>na ibinigay sa akin ng </i>Star Music,” she stated.</div><div><br/></div><div>Jonalyn is also set to have her a new album. “A<i>bangan po nila ‘yung album na lalabas under Star Music.</i>” Will she change her musical style this time? “<i>Actually same pa rin naman kung ano ‘yung nakasanayan sa akin na maririnig ng mga tao</i> which is ballad pop and a little bit of R&amp;B, <i>ganon pa rin ang maririnig nila sa akin </i>but<i> may kaunting change</i>. <i>Hindi siya ‘yung </i>totally<i> birit, kumbaga medyo magi-iba kami ngayon sa </i>album so<i> abangan nila</i> ‘yan.”</div><div><br/></div><div>Among the Kapamilya singers, who does she want to work or collaborate with? “<i>Si Ms. Lani Misalucha.</i> She’s my long time idol na rin aside from <i>Ms. Regine Velasquez, kay Ms. Jaya so </i>‘<i>yun </i>looking forward <i>ako na sana makatrabaho ko siya.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>For her first project with ABS-CBN, she sang the theme song of the Kapamilya serye <i>We Will Survive</i>. She performed the song during the grand press conference of the show last February. She also explained why she changed her screen name to Jona. &#x27;<i>Jona kasi nickname ko po talaga siya. So &#x27;yun po ang ibinigay sa akin ngayon </i>since it&#x27;s a fresh start<i> -- bagong </i>home<i>, bagong </i>environment<i>. Kaya po Jona</i>,&#x27; she said.</div><div><br/></div>
