JC de Vera buddy Matteo Guidicelli is his album inspiration

<div><img src="" alt="032616-jc_main.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>Aside from being a hunky actor, JC de Vera is now a certified recording artist.</div><div><br/></div><div>His debut album <i>Stellar</i> has been out for a few weeks now and has been among the Top 10 bestsellers in select record stores.</div><div><br/></div><div>In an interview with JC during a press conference of his album, he proudly shared that he was the one who thought of the album title.</div><div><br/></div><div>&#x27;The whole album is about a dream. It started with a dream about a guy falling in love with a girl. <i>Alam mo &#x27;yon kapag sinabi mong stellar, constellation, stars, kapag nagdi-dream ka at night, hindi ba you look up at the stars, tapos you dream. So basically &#x27;yun siya,</i>&#x27; he explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>If there is one thing that JC is certain about is that the songs on his album are “well-balanced.”</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Merong ballad, merong danceable song, merong isang song na celebration, may heartbreak song para mag-cater siya sa lahat talaga and ‘yun nga para maka-relate lahat,</i>” he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>As a first-time singer, JC openly shared that he and his record producer Jonathan Ong made sure not to go overboard in terms of choosing the tracks for his album.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“We just made sure na ‘yung mga songs na gagawin talagang magfi-fit for me. Sinabi ko ang mga songs na type kong pinapakinggan ko and ‘yung mga songs na gusto kong gawin,</i>” he explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>Despite the launch of his album JC was very candid in saying that a concert has not yet crossed his mind.</div><div><br/></div><div><a href="/albums/3350/matteo-jc-and-daniel-bring-the-house-down-in-dreamboys-concert/">JC along with Daniel Matsunaga and Matteo Guidicelli headlined their first group “experimental” concert July last year titled Dreamboys at the Music Museum.</a></div><div><br/></div><div>So who’s the better singer between him and Matteo?</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Si Matt inspirasyon ko ‘yun. Naging buddy-buddy ko siya tapos nung Dreamboys sabi ko sa kanya ‘Bro hindi malabong magkakaroon ka ng album!’ So siya ang nauna tapos sinuportahan ko siya,”</i> he said.</div><div><br/></div><div>He added,<i> “Sabi ko ‘Buti gumawa ka!’ kasi diba siya talaga ‘yung talagang naging headline ng Dreamboys eh diba?’ Akala ko hindi rin naman ako magkakaroon rin.”</i></div><div><br/></div><div>As early as now, the budding singer quashed potential competition rumors between the two of them saying that: <i>“Walang competition actually sa aming dalawa. Suportahan lang kasi ‘yun nga naging buddy-buddy ko nga si Matt.”</i></div><div><br/></div>
