Charo Santos-Concio to have a movie comeback

<div><img src="" alt="053016-charo_main.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>ABS-CBN’s Chief Content Officer and <i><a href="http://mmk.abs-cbn.com">Maalala Mo Kaya</a></i> host Charo Santos-Concio admitted that she shot a movie with award winning director Lav Diaz. </div><div><br/></div><div>Lav recently directed the film <i>Hele Sa Hiwagang Hapis</i>, that won the Silver Bear award during this year’s Berlin International Film Festival. </div><div><br/></div><div>When asked to confirm the project during the press conference for <i>Maalala Mo Kaya</i>’s 25th anniversary kick-off, Charo said, “Yes, it’s true” without hesitation, sharing that she just finished doing the movie which is entitled, <i>Ang Babaeng Humayo.</i> </div><div><br/></div><div>How does it feel to be back in acting? </div><div><br/></div><div>Sharing that the movie is part of the Cinema One Film Festival, Charo answered that she had so much fun.</div><div><br/></div><div>“When he came back from Berlin, he asked me if I would reconsider going back to acting and I said, ‘yeah, why not? If there’s a good offer, no? If it’s an interesting character’ and <i>parang</i> two days after the talk, he sent me a script and <i>‘nung binasa ko, nagustuhan ko siya</i>,” Charo, who also revealed they shot the movie for 10 days. </div><div><br/></div><div>While the rest of the details like the other actors will be disclosed in a separate press conference in July, Star Creatives’ Chief Operating Officer Malou Santos assured everyone, “Definitely, you’ll see a new Charo <i>at magugulat kayo sa</i> role <i>na ginampanan niya.</i>”</div><div><br/></div><div>Meanwhile, when asked if there will be a chance for Charo to return to acting fulltime, the President of ABS-CBN University and executive adviser to ABS-CBN’s Chairman replied, “I just go with the flow, I don’t really plan. I don’t plan anything <i>parang </i>whatever the universe offers me now, if my heart and my gut think it’s the right thing to do and I will have fun and I will have a great adventure then I’m open to it. It’s not a conscious decision… I really just go with the flow.”</div><div><br/></div>
