EXCLUSIVE: Rachel Alejandro offers weight-loss plan in new cookbook

<div> </div>&#x27;Ang Larawan&#x27; actress and singer Rachel Alejandro recently launched her third cookbook called &#x27;21 Days To A Sexier You&#x27; and unlike her previous &#x27;Sexy Chef&#x27; diet books, this offers a 21-day weight-loss plan.In an interview with Push, Rachel said that her new book, which she co-authored with her sister Chef Barni, is very different from the first two.&quot;&#x27;Yung unang book namin, it&#x27;s really about &#x27;yung mga parang naging tried (and tested) recipes ng &#x27;The Sexy Chef&#x27; (their diet food delivery business) so basically, &#x27;yung mga sineserve na talaga namin, typically as part of &#x27;yung mga diet plans.&quot;She also said that the second book evolved and included all-original recipes of her sister for the family. &quot;Nag-focus kami on eating real food, kumbaga hindi diet food. As much as possible, hindi gumagamit ng mga preservatives and as much as possible, fresh ang mga ingredients na ginagamit,&quot; adding that they focused on healthy family-style dishes.For the third book, they decided for it to include a weight-loss plan.&quot;Kapag sinunod niyo, you will learn new habits. You will learn what are the things that you could be doing na (siguro) kaya hindi nagwowork &#x27;yung pagpapayat ninyo and at the same time, kung paano niyo magagamit ang what food to include and what nutrients to include to help with weight-loss.&quot;Rachel also said that while it is more than just losing weight, but a change of mindset.&quot;It&#x27;s a change in the way you look at food and the way you relate the food that you eat and your body,&quot; she said.Saying that weight-loss is a struggle for a lot of people, Rachel noted that there are things stronger than just willpower, that discipline and willpower are not enough. &quot;There are things that you can imbibe and there are things that you can add on a daily basis that will create a healthy habit for you,&quot; she said.
