'Unexpectedly Yours' director Cathy Garcia-Molina refused to compare young actor Joshua Garcia and seasoned star John Lloyd Cruz to one another, no matter the comparisons made by other people. Some viewers have been saying that Joshua is the next John Lloyd.

Cathy, at a recent bloggers' conference, said, "He will never be John Lloyd. John Lloyd will always be John Lloyd. No matter how good Joshua is, he can only be Joshua.

"Hindi kasi ako naniniwala 'dun eh, ‘yung mga 'next next’ kasi iba si John Lloyd. Incomparable (siya) as much as Joshua is incomparable. He has his own strengths. Joshua will make it on his own."

While Cathy only got to work with Joshua in their now showing movie, the blockbuster director worked with John Lloyd in several projects including the well-received film trilogy 'A Very Special Love,' 'You Changed My Life' and 'It Takes A Man and A Woman.'
