Erik Santos says he’s eager to know Miss Great Britain more

Kapamilya singer Erik Santos shared how he met Miss Universe Great Britain 2016 candidate Jamie Lee Faulkner during his guest appearance on Magandang Buhay, April 5.

According to Erik, they first met when he sang for some Miss Universe contestants during their TV guesting on Umagang Kay Ganda last January. They were then gearing up for the upcoming pageant that was held in the country.

“Naging friends kami. It started ‘nung Umagang Kay Ganda and ‘yun, parang feeling ko kasi nagustuhan niya ‘yung pagserenade ko sa kanila, especially siya. Talagang feeling ko nagustuhan niya so…”

Meanwhile, host Jolina Magdangal informed the singer that one of the staff got in touch with Miss Great Britain who had a message for him. She read her message, “Erik seems to be a lovely guy, not to mention, extremely talented. Erik and I communicate once in a while and if I were to visit the Philippines again, it would be nice to catch up over coffee.”

When asked if this is okay with singer Angeline Quinto who was romantically linked to Erik, he said, “Single naman si Angeline, single naman ako. We’re both special to each other. Alam naman natin ‘yan and hindi ko alam kung alam niya about this. Hindi ko naman ‘to inoopen up sa kanya pero since na-i-ano niyo na, eh ‘di mamaya, tatawagan ko siya.”

As he was describing Miss Great Britain, Erik admitted making the first the move on the beauty queen. “Sobra niyang bait. Ako kasi unang nag-direct message sa kanya sa Instagram… Sabi ko sa kanya, ‘it was nice meeting you and…’ ‘Yun, tapos nagkamessage na kami until now. Once in a while kapag may time, kapag hindi busy pero we’re friends.”

Erik also gave a message to Miss Great Britain, “And by the way, I’m going to the UK this July. I hope to see you there… I hope to see you. I hope to see you soon and I’m so eager to know you more.”
