<div style="text-align:center"><img src="" alt="052317-NicoleCordoves_PUSH.jpg" width="500" height="390" align="center" border="0"/> </div>Si Nicole Cordoves, ang 2016 first runner up ng Miss Grand International pageant, ang magiging host ng finals night ng Thailand-based pageant para sa 2017 edition nito.Sa Vietnam magaganap ngayong October ang sumisikat na pageant at ang coronation night ay magaganap sa October 25 sa Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort and Villas Convention Hall on the island of Phu Quoc. Magkakaroon ng male co-host si Nicole na hindi pa nare-reveal kung sino. Bago sumabak sa pageant world, speech writer si Nicole para sa former finance secretary na si Cesar Purisima at ito rin ang kanyang nagamit para mapansin at palakpakan sa semi-final round ng 2016 edition ng Miss Grand International kung saan naging kontrobersyal ang kanyang sagot sa tanong na may kinalaman sa noon ay nagaganap na US Presidential elections sa pagitan nina Donald Trump at Hillary Clinton.Pumuwesto si Nicole as first runner-up sa kandidata ng Indonesia na si Ariska Putri Pertiw.Sa ngayon, ito ang highest place na nakuha ng isang Pinay sa nasabing pageant.Sa kanilang Stop the War and Violence campaign nakikilala ang Miss Grand International (MGI) at isa sa inaabangang annual pageants kasama ang mga established international pageants: Miss Earth, Miss International, Miss Universe and Miss World.
