Gloria Diaz posted a message for daughter Isabelle Daza after the latter received online backlash and was labeled “culturally insensitive.”

Isabelle was called out by netizens for her Instagram Stories wherein she was seen putting a hat on a statue and throwing away a calling card when her sister handed it to her the Japanese way.

“Belle there is a saying people throw stones at trees na may mga bunga so don’t let bashers get to u! (sic),” Gloria wrote in the comment section of Isabelle’s Instagram photo. The former beauty queen also remarked that her daughter is “the most generous and kind person” she knows. “It seems I am biased but u know me I am cruelly truthful!!” Gloria stated.

Isabelle did not issue a statement yet in response to the comments of the netizens.
