Proud nitong sinabi na siya ang tatay ng siyam na kabataan na bida sa pelikula.&quot;Hindi pa ako isang tatay pero sa set namin ako ang naging tatay nila. Nine kids, one year in the making. Ilan sa cast accidentally naitutulak na totohanan. May mga scenes din kasi that requires ng pisikalan kaya di rin maiwasan na magkasakitan minsan-minsan,&quot; kuwento pa ng director.Walang multo o monster na mananakot sa Bloody Crayons kayat kakaibang challenge kung paano mapapasigaw at magugulat ang manonood ng pelikula. Ibinahagi ni Direk Topel ang ilan sa kanyang mga ginawa.&quot;Ito iyung parang suspense movie ko na walang supernatural or entities involved. Mahirap ito kaya malaking tulong ang magagaling na batang ito. I used a lot of equipment na ginagamit sa indie shoots and a lot of cranes to capture lahat ng kailangan and make it look suspense and scary,&quot; pagtatapos ni direk.
