Ferdinand Topacio, in a report by PEP, claimed that Jake even flew home to personally see through the settlement of the custody case.&quot;Nag-aaral po siya roon, hanggang Agosto pa ang kanyang classes. Bumalik siya rito para magkaroon ng paghaharap. At nandun naman po si Ms. Andi Eigenmann, dumating kasama ang kanyang abugado,” he said.Jake’s mother, Laarni Enriquez, was also present at the said meeting.While there is a gag order concerning the issue, the lawyer described the meeting as something pleasant.“Pero suffice it to say, yun pong kasunduan, both parties ay masaya, at ito ay katanggap-tanggap sa bawat panig,” he said.According to him, the former couple are ready to sign the agreement that they discussed during the meeting.“Binigyan po kami ng kopya nung pinagkasunduan, ito ay immediately effective na po, ngunit sa July 24 po ay babalik po yung mga parties upang lagdaan yun pong agreement,” he said. “Pero yun ay formality na lamang. Pagkatapos po nilang lagdaan yun ay i-dismiss na po yung kaso.”Atty. Topacio is convinced that they have arrived at a good resolution with regard to the custody issue, as well as the child support aspect.He pointed out that his client has been giving child support for his daughter right from the start.“At ngayon po, kung ano man yung dating suporta ay pinalawig na po at nandun na po sa agreement,” he said.Jake’s counsel even reiterated that their camp has no issue as far as providing for his child is concerned.“Actually, yun lang naman po ang hangad ni Mr. Jake Ejercito na maging klaro po, black and white, yung karapatan niya bilang ama, at siyempre yung karapatan din ni Ms. Andi Eigenmann bilang ina rin ng bata,” he said.In the end, the lawyer expressed joy that the two warring camps have finally resolved their issue.“And I’m very happy for Ellie na mawala na po ang lahat ng friction,” he said.
