<div> </div>Piolo Pascual remarked that he learned a lot from the success of the movie Kita Kita which he produced.“Masaya siya, in a way scary because parang anong susunod? Pero hindi ka pwede magpadala sa pressure. Naka-chamba tayo pero mas maganda na i-value natin ‘yung sinabi ng mga tao na it’s not about the budget, it’s about the quality of the film, so I think sobra ‘yung learning, sobra ‘yung learning namin in terms of how we put out content ngayon,” he said.He added that the success of the film is also a challenge for them to produce more good stories in the future. “Kasi ang mga tao they are more supportive nowadays, watchful sila sa mga ginagawa mo. I think it is an opportunity for us to you know, challenge ourselves even better, harder and come up with concepts that would be suitable for our audience,” he said.Meanwhile, Piolo will be starring soon in a movie himself. He is set to be reunited with Toni Gonzaga on the big screen in the upcoming film Last Night.“We’re just really excited because it is something different, something new so at first parang nagwo-worry kami kung papaano mo ‘yun ita-top ‘yung last movie namin di ba? But masarap ‘yung experience namin especially with direk Joyce (Bernal) at ang galing pa ng sumulat ng script (Bela Padilla), artista pa. Maganda, it just fell into place I guess. When Tin (Toni Gonzaga) and I read the script right away we said yes to it and we made sure na kami ‘yung gagawa,” he stated.On what fans can expect from their new movie, Piolo relayed, “Dito sa ‘Last Night’ it’s all about choices and siyempre hindi naman kami bata ni Tin para magpa-tweetums pa kami sa pelikula so we made sure it’s something not necessarily mature but different and kind of you know, more serious in a way.”It took years before they got to film another project. Asked what were the changes that Piolo noticed in Toni, he relayed, “All positive naman, all good. Reserved pa rin naman si Tin. Di mo naman maalis sa kanya ‘yung pagiging manang, manang talaga ‘yan eh. Pero mas daring siya ngayon, mas kilala niya ‘yung sarili niya, mas sigurado siya sa ginagawa niya so mas masarap siya ka-eksena because alam mo ‘yun ang laki ng maturity niya sa acting. The way she presents herself, lahat naman tayo tumatanda at kay Tin mula nong naging mommy pa siya, mas naging broad pa ‘yung appreciation niya nong art.”

Piolo Pascual wants to come up with more good concepts in the future just like ‘Kita Kita’.
