Inigo Pascual to pursue studies in line with his passion

<div> </div><p>After taking up a Business program for quite some time, Inigo Pascual shared during the launch of Cornerstone Music last Thursday, September 27, that he will shift to another program that would further help him enhance his skills in music. </p><p>One of the best young OPM artists in the country today, Inigo Pascual said he plans to take up music production.</p><p>&quot;I&#x27;m switching courses, actually. Same course <em>kami ni</em> Mamameh(Maris Racal). We might go to the same school. We&#x27;re gonna do music production. Hopefully, this coming semester <em>makapasok na kami</em>,&quot; the 21-year-old singer-songwriter said, revealing that he and his ka-love team would also pursue the same program like his in the same institution. </p><div><a href="https://push.abs-cbn.com/2018/9/28/photos/inigo-pascual-moira-dela-torre-and-more-stars-per-192813"><u>LOOK: Inigo Pascual, Moira dela Torre and more stars perform at the Cornerstone Music Grand Event Launch</u></a></div><p>Though it is obviously his love for music that inspired him to shift to another program, Inigo expounded on his decision to pursue his passion. </p><p>&quot;I really wanted to do busines. I mean it&#x27;s something that my Dad does so I wanted to learn it as well. <em>Pero naisip ko &#x27;ano ba talaga &#x27;yung gusto kong gawin</em>?&#x27;.<em> Syempre</em> my dad has Spring Films.<em> Sabi ko</em> I wanna make something like Spring Record. I wanna learn this stuff and be able to make music. <em>Palawakin pa &#x27;yung pwede kong gawin</em>. <em>&#x27;Yung pag-iisip ko</em> in terms of creating songs, creating music so <em>naisip ko</em> why not study it and dive into it and immerse myself in the music scene not as a celebrity, not as a signed artist but as a student in the production side of things,&quot; he said. </p><p>Despite his decision to change program, Inigo said his dad has been very supportive of him. </p><p>&quot;Ever since sobrang supportive niya. <em>Siguro si</em> Papa <em>mas nagustuhan niya nga na naisip ko &#x27;yun kasi sabi niya makakatulong din ako</em> if ever <em>sa mga</em> movies <em>na gagawin niya</em>.<em> Baka makapag-movie</em> scoring<em> ako</em> or something, <em>&#x27;di ba</em>? Very supportive <em>naman siya</em>,&quot; he said. </p><p>Inigo also revealed that his dad Piolo Pascual also has plans to return to school. </p><p>&quot;My dad&#x27;s actually gonna go to school as well. I think he&#x27;s gonna go take a short course somewhere else. It has to come from you. It  can&#x27;t come from someone<em> na &#x27;kailangan gawin mo &#x27;to</em>, <em>kailangan gawin mo &#x27;yan</em>&#x27;. <em>Kailangan ikaw &#x27;yung magkukusang mag-decide na &#x27;gusto ko mag-aral</em>&#x27;,&quot; he said. </p><p>&quot;<em>Kasi ako &#x27;di ba</em> for two years I stopped school and then I realized I wanna study and learn more things no matter how busy you are,&quot; he added. </p><p>He also praised Jodi Sta. Maria for being a living testament of a celebrity who inspires everyone to pursue their education no matter what comes in their way. </p><p>&quot;<em>Si Ate</em> Jodi<em> nga &#x27;di ba</em>? She&#x27;s studying Psychology and she&#x27;s working at the same time. So things like that <em>nakaka-inspire kasi alam mo &#x27;yun, pwede pala</em>. <em>Pwede mong gawin kung gugustuhin.
