The special Holiday segment of One Music POPSSSS’ Season 6, featuring Kapamilya stars Maris Racal, Iñigo Pascual, Ryle Santiago, and AC Bonifacio felt like a roller coaster ride with the series of unexpected events that took place last Tuesday at the ABS-CBN Studio Experience in Trinoma.

For their Christmas Special, the four hosts tried out different activities at the studio, including a fun game in the “Minute to Win It” and “The Voice” booths. As a bonus, they also held an exclusive meet-and-greet with fans, along a mini concert to wrap up the celebration.

During the show, all four had their own solo moment onstage – with Ryle singing Sam Concepcion, Tippy Dos Santos, and Quest’s Dati; AC belting out Janine Teñoso’s version of ‘Di Na Muli; Maris channeling her inner neo soul artist with Corrine Bailey Rae’s Put Your Records On; and Iñigo serenading the crowd with Orange & Lemons’ Yakap sa Dilim.

Afterwards, the two boys performed a medley of Perfect by Ed Sheeran and Can’t Help Falling In Love by Elvis Presley. The girls, on the other hand, gave a powerful rendition of December Avenue and Moira dela Torres’ hit, Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw.

For the MarÑigo fans, Maris and Iñigo did a special duet of Indigo Girls’ The Power of Two, with the young actress surprisingly tearing up as they sang along to the music.

Apparently, the track holds a special place in Maris’ heart, as it happens to be a favorite of her and her mother, Leony Racal, to sing along to.

Thankfully, her “Papa Peh” was there by her side to give her comfort, as well as the push to finish the song for their loyal supporters.
