James Reid dadaan sa matinding training para sa Pedro Penduko

Balik training si James Reid para sa kanyang upcoming movie na Pedro Penduko. Kuwento ng aktor nagsimula na siya matapos ang JaDine Revolution Concert Tour sa US kasama ang girlfriend at ka-love team na si Nadine Lustre.

“I want the fight scenes to be me, I don’t want to ask for doubles. It’s really intense honestly from Muay Thai, Filipino Martial Arts thing and training for the weapons of Pedro Penduko,” sabi ni James.

Aniya, isang karangalan ang gampanan ang iconic character na ito na tumatak na sa mga manonood dahil kina Janno Gibbs, na gumanap na Pedro sa pelikula noong 90s, at Matt Evans sa TV sa Komiks Presents The Adventures of Pedro Penduko.

“It’s a movie that has social relevance, a touch of what’s happening in the Philippines. I can’t wait for the audience to see this super hero movie,” dagdag ni James.

Gaganap man ng solo sa pelikula, sinigurado naman ni James na matatag pa din ang JaDine, kahit pa magkakaroon din ng solo movie si Nadine.

Ayon pa kay James, dream project din ang Maria Makiling para kay Nadine.

“She has always wanted to have her own action role so I think it’s perfect for her,” sambit ni James.

At kung requirement ang magpa-sexy para sa role ay okay lang din daw ito kay James.

“Nadine is sexy if that is what they need, so show it off. She’s confident about her own body,” sagot nito.
