Vina Morales on working with Barbie Imperial: ‘Wala namang pa-diva sa amin’

<div> </div>Currently seen playing the role of the feisty Celestina in the afternoon series Araw Gabi, Vina Morales said it is one of her most challenging parts in recent years. “Nakakapagod si Celestina (laughs). Diyosko ang daming emosyon! Parang sumi-seesaw yung kanyang emotions. I’m very happy that I get to work with really professional people on the set. Siyempre nag-uumpisa yan sa aming mga directors na talagang inaalagaan yung acting amin. Nakatutok sila sa amin eh on each character. Pangalawa is yung mga nakakatrabaho ko naman talagang professional din,” she shared during the grand opening of Beautizone last June 28 in Taguig city.One of the things Vina said she is very thankful for with her current show is that the entire cast gets along smoothly and she enjoys the work. “Wala kaming nagiging problema sa set. Wala namang pa-diva sa amin thank God. Kasi mahirap naman magtrabaho ng merong may pa-diva eh. Delay yun on the set so wala pa naman and I hope walang managyayaring ganun. They’re very professional, JM (De Guzman), Barbie (Imperial), and the whole cast actually,” she said.The new Beautizone celebrity ambassador also shared what she thinks of her co-stars JM De Guzman and Barbie Imperial. “I wouldn’t say JM is a newcomer. Nabigyan siya ng opportunity talaga to go back and have another chance and sa nakikita ko naman he’s really doing well and he’s giving his best. Si Barbie naman wini-welcome naman niya ang mga advice at thankful siya sa opportunity na naibigay sa kanya ng ABS-CBN,” she shared.The 42-year-old performer also has her music career on track as she is set to release the second single from her Vina:30 album which was released last year. “Malapit ng ilabas ang aking second single under Star Music of course. Because last year yung first single ko pa lang ang na-ri-release. So this year we want a different concept. So abangan niyo yung aking second single, medyo may pa-sayaw-sayaw siya (laughs),” she added.
