Moira Dela Torre isn’t about to let anyone kill her excitement for her upcoming wedding. In another attempt of online trolls to shame the singer, Moira responded to them like an empowered woman.

I wrote "Malaya" exactly 3 years ago on Dec 28, 2015 because i couldnt seem to find hope for the years to come. I realized then that to start afresh, I had so much baggages I needed to let go first— unforgiveness, doubt & giving my past the power to steal my faith. It was about time I set myself free and so... Malaya was written. 3 years later, I'm still far from perfect but nonetheless FREE. I know where my heart is and it is in a very good place with God.♥️ It's 3 years later and I am living my calling doing what I love, meeting the most incredible people along the way and days away from becoming my best friend's wife.🥰 This song is no longer a note to self, but my testimony. And today, before we enter 2019, I hope my story reminds you that you are not alone; that there is hope; that God is faithful; at MALAYA KA NA. // what are you letting go & setting yourself free from before entering 2019? 🍂 #MalayaSa2019 // Remind yourself with Malaya Merch + signed Malaya Albums available only on moiradelatorre.com 🙂 📸 @mchlgonzales

In an Instagram photo that Moira posted last January 5, the singer talked about how excited she was to be soon marrying her fiancé Jason Marvin. One netizen proceeded to shame the singer for her face shape.

Happy New Year!”

Recently, the 25-year-old singer called out on Twitter a rude audience member who called her “panget” and “mataba” during a live gig in Marikina City. Her tweet has received positive supports from her fans.

Moira also once talked about her insecurities about her body image and how it makes her feel pressured for her wedding.
