It was a day full of work, but Elisse Joson’s birthday last Sunday, January 4, nonetheless turned out to be one for the books after her mother, Christine Joson-Diuco, surprised her daughter with a simple celebration at home.Present in the gathering were some of their family members and the actress’ gal pal, Michelle Vito.“Itong araw na to hindi ko inexpect na magiging ganto. Akala ko magtatrabaho lang ako at magkakaron ng simpleng dinner pagkatapos,” said Elisse in her latest Instagram post this Tuesday.“Thank you mommy kahit na di ka magaling magsurprise kasi nag gigive away ka ng hints (haha) nasurprise mo din talaga ako. Thanks for the effort and most especially the love behind all this. I know you and mamay wanted me happy this day. You always show me how I should be loved and cared for, and I am thankful for that,” she added.

As simple as the celebration was, the surprise gift didn’t fail to give joy to Ngayon At Kailanman star Elisse Joson as she turned 23 last Sunday.
