Last December 15, Gerald Anderson hosted The Th3rd Floor Celebrity 3v3 charity basketball games with the help of Front Row Philippines. The event had them turning over a P200,000 donation to Cottolengo Filipino, a charity based in Montalban, Rizal which serves the most poor, abandoned, neglected, surrendered persons with disabilities.<div>&quot;Kaibigan ko yung may-ari ng Front Row and we share one passion which is basketball. Nalaman ko that they have their own foundation and sabi ko why don&#x27;t we do something to give back? Yung mga bata sa Cottolengo Filipino, ilang years na kaming may relationship with that. So we just came here to play basketball and nag-donate ang Front Row Cares to them so they&#x27;re going to have a great Christmas. We&#x27;re just here because of the love for the game and love for helping other people,&quot; he told PUSH.</div>For the event, Gerald invited celebrity baller friends like Marco Gumabao, Young JV, Kyle Echarri, Axel Torres, and Jairus Aquino as well as his Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) teammates and friends Jayjay Helterband and Thirdy Ravena to support the one-day event last Sunday. &quot;Right now we have celebrities here and we have PBA players. Competitive silang lahat. So ang ganda ng energy, walang gustong magpatalo But we&#x27;re all here for a good reason,&quot; he shared.Apart from supporting charity, Gerald is also proud of his latest appointment as ambassador of goodwill by the Philippine Youth-KASAMA (Kabatang Sama-samang Maglilingkod). &quot;It&#x27;s going to be a long year and I&#x27;m very privileged dahil may bagong platform to help.
