Actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith is happy with the feedback she’s getting from fans of Liza Soberano and Enrique Gil as part of their love triangle for the highly anticipated film, ‘Alone/Together’.

For this project, the Filipino-Australian beauty is set to take on the role as the new girlfriend of Enrique’s character after Liza’s – something that is very much comparable to the roles she has played in her previous projects, including 2016’s Imagine You and Me and 2017’s Siargao.

Having worked with different onscreen pairs in the course of her career – AlDub, PauMaj, and Jericho-Erich, to name a few – Jasmine became susceptible to bashing from hardcore supporters of these said love teams. One even took to Twitter to commend her for being ‘brave’ enough to have accepted the offer to play in the film as third party to LizQuen.

Ang tapang ni Jasmine makipag-love triangle sa AlDub. Ngayon [naman], LizQuen,” one supporter said on Twitter. “Deserve mo ‘te! Sana ‘di ka i-bash. Trabaho lang. All the best!”

However, Jasmine could only speak of good things when it comes to fans of Liza and Enrique.

“LizQuen fans have been kind!,” she said, citing that it’s always a matter of professionalism when it comes to doing acting projects anyway. “Trabaho lang always when it comes to my projects with or without love teams. A blessing is a blessing. Thank you!”

Alone/Together’, by filmmaker Tonet Jadaone in collaboration with Black Sheep productions, is set to hit cinemas nationwide this coming February 13.
