Gerald Anderson took a trip back to his hometown in General Santos City for a talk as part of the country's Army Reservist.

The actor remarked that he is very honored to be part of the said event which brings "awareness about peace and terrorism issues."

On Instagram, Gerald wrote, "This country ❤🇵🇭 .. very honored to be able to go home (General Santos) and bring awareness about peace and terrorism issues ..terrorist recruitment of our youth through social media .. be careful of false information."

He reminded the netizens and the media to always research before posting anything online.
