‘Pinoy Big Brother Connect’ opens auditions online for new housemates

<p>The search for the newest batch of housemates for the successful reality television show <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/pbbotso"><em><strong><u>Pinoy Big Brother</u></strong></em></a> has once again officially started with the announcement of auditions starting from October 19 to November 11. Big Brother announced the news on #ASAPnatinTo last October 18, Sunday along with instructions on how people can audition to become housemates.</p><p>The ninth season of the country’s biggest reality show will be called <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/pbbotso"><em><strong><u>Pinoy Big Brother</u></strong></em></a> <em>Connect.</em> According to Big Brother, auditionees must be between the ages of 16 to 35 years old and just simply need to submit a one-minute audition video via the livestreaming app Kumu. </p><p>In the video, aspiring housemates must state their full name, age, and location as well as use the show’s official hashtag #PBBKUMUAUDITION.</p><p>Applicants can only submit an audition video once and only successful applicants will receive a message from PBB’s official Kumu Throughout its 15-year-run, PBB has churned out a lot of housemates-turned-celebrities including Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Robi Domingo, Ejay Falcon, Ryan Bang, Beauty Gonzalez, and James Reid. It was originally hosted by Willie Revillame, Mariel Rodriguez, and Toni Gonzaga, with the latter being the only remaining host up until the present. In the last season of the show, Toni was the host along with her sister Alex Gonzaga, Robi Domingo, Bianca Gonzalez, and previous Big Winners Kim Chiu and Melai Cantiveros.</p>
